In my own terms I call it W-A-T-E-R, which means WATER.

You must water your marriage for it to grow well and look fresh all the time.

There is this general saying, that water does not have enemy, because we need water in every area of our life.
So is husband and wife needs each other in every area of their life.

Marriage is most important thing in our lives. If you fail in it their is possibility that you might fail in other things of life.

Note: Water is very necessary to every living creature, nothing can replace it, and nobody can do without it for a long time.

WATER PRINCIPLES OF A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE

W- Wisdom.
“Wisdom is needed for a home to stand, you need to improve yourself. if your marriage is troubled, don’t blame anybody for it, blame your ignorance, foolishness and lack of knowledge. Your marriage is not having many problems; it is wisdom problem. Your in-laws, are not the issue, but you, I mean your lack of deep understanding of what family life should be. Develop yourself, read books, attend programmes, go for counsel, listen to tapes, read magazines, by all means improve yourself and become a better husband or wife. According to proverb 24: 3, and it said through wisdom a house is builded

A- Acceptance.
Unless you learn how to accept your husband or your wife, it will be very difficult to love him or her and live in harmony, stop comparing your spouse with anybody. See your spouse as the best thing that ever happen to you, avoid criticism like a plaque, never condemn or regret ever marrying the person, who told you somebody else would have been better? There is no perfect woman or man out there so stop comparing and complaining. Until you accept your spouse you can’t genuinely love the person and without love you can’t build a successful home.

T- Two are better than one.
Marriage is all about companionship, doing things together will enhance your family life, that is why the Bible says, “Two are better than one,….” That is two that are ready to work together in love and unity. Learn to do things together in your marriage. play together, work, raise your children, spend, plan, relax, bath together. Make your marriage a marriage of togetherness, because togetherness is the number one of oneness in marriage.

E- Encouragement
Be a source of encouragement to your spouse, be a motivator, be an encourager, help build the self-esteem, and feeling of self worth in your spouse. It is natural for people to gravitate toward those who encourage and make this feel good. If your spouse is able to meet this need true you, it will create friendship that will make your marriage solid.

R- Romance.
Marriage should be a romantic relationship, allow it to be so, never permit romance to die in your marriage, don’t give it room to dry, give life to it, give it a push, fuel it and let it be full of spark. One way to jumpstart and maintain romance in your marriage is to be playful with each other and treat each other as friends, relax and enjoy each other company, create time to be together, see it as a privilege to have been married to your spouse, see him or her as a rare gift into your life. always look forward to be together and enjoy each other, never allow busyness to destroy your business of marriage. Also use touching to the maximum, touch each other generously, be addicted to hugging each other, hold each other as you pray together, kiss passionate, cuddle each other as you sleep, hold each other hands as you take a stroll, place your head on your spouse laps as you watch television together, help scratch your spouse back, massage each other, dance together, enjoy every moment of your marital life. if you allow romance to die in your marriage, it will make your marriage dry and uninteresting, thereby giving room for boredom that do lead to limits, bitterness and resentment. By all means; keep the flame of romance burning in your marriage.

In conclusion, always make God the foundation of your marriage, because he is the pillar and founder of marriage.
